When you’re on Cliff’s dance floor, more so than most DJ’s, the possibility is endless for the variety of music you can hear and there’s no doubt at least one track he plays will absolutely shock you that he’s playing what he’s playing. Few know more about music than Cliff, and few work harder to bring that music to people on a nightly basis.
Born and raised in New England, Cliff Cunningham currently heads up the DJ staff at 47 Central in Lynn, MA and has come back for his third stint as a DJ at Club Café. He’s held positions at local venues including Machine, The Randolph Country Club, and 911. His mobile DJ gigs include fundraisers (including the opening party for the annual Harbor to the Bay Fundraiser), private events, weddings, and company parties. His 20+ years of experience in the industry comes with a long list of well-known mentors and colleagues in the DJ world. He’s loved DJing for so long simply for the fact that he loves being responsible for creating a positive energy for people and watching the crowd feed off of that energy and dance the night away. Knowing he’s responsible for people having a good night out is what keeps him going and keeps him interested in the creative undercurrent to playing a gig.
Cliff loves working with big names in the world of music and some of his favorites have been Jimmy James, Robin S., Amber, Jenna Drey, Oshai Kai, Boston’s own Misery and the Perry Twins. His inspirations include JR Vasquez, Freemasons and David Guetta, but the list certainly doesn’t stop there!
When asked what his future holds, he shrugs his shoulders and conveys that he’d like to keep doing what he’s doing and continue to get more opportunities to DJ in new places, meet new people and keep experiencing events through the music he plays.
