BÉME / Belle Époque Music Ensemble
Firework! Sparkles! Joie de vivre, and beyond! From the late 1800s in Europe to the mad twenties (so called Années Folles) toward the thirties up to America, plenty of wonderful uplifting Music has been composed, as it could flourish and touch a large audience while highlighting the essence of these pocket sized dramas and burlesque romances through witty, sometime provocative, always positive prose and poetry.

Taking a chance at revisiting some of the most famous tunes of that era, from Cancan like to Ragtime or Charleston, is a fun challenge the Belle Époque Music Ensemble was willing to take and perform live using old and new arrangements of their own.
