Brendan and his friends kicking off Pride with an all LGBT+ cast singing songs with proud themes. Expect a lot of gender bending, hilarity and powerfully touching moments.

BRENDAN J. KENNEY is a Greater Boston area music director, conductor, accompanist, and vocalist known mostly for his work in musical theatre, having collaborated in various capacities with Lyric Stage Company, SpeakEasy Stage Company, and Umbrella Stage Company, among others. As a vocalist, Brendan has most recently been seen on stage singing back-up for Josh Groban and Sarah Brightman.

In an effort to keep the arts alive at the height of the pandemic, he founded the Firebird Pops Orchestra virtually, eventually transitioning the ensemble to live performance, which he presently conducts. Also a pipe organist for various churches, Brendan’s unique dual background lends to musical stylings that span the ages from early music including Gregorian Chant, all the way through modern day musical theatre.
