JAN PETERS has been a Napoleon Room favorite for over 20 years delivering Broadway and American Songbook favorites with “one of the most beautiful voices in the Boston cabaret scene today.” She was honored to be named Improper Bostonian Best Cabaret Act 2005, IRNE Award winner Best Female Cabaret Artist 2002 and Bay Windows Best Cabaret Performer 2002. Jan’s cabaret show “Old Fashioned, Please!” was named one of Boston’s Top Ten (Bay Windows 2000 Cabaret Year In Review).

Most recent performances include, Six Degrees of Sondheim, where Jan’s performance was hailed as “worth the price of admission”, and Jan Peters Sings Johnny Mercer performed to a SRO crowd. By invitation, Jan has performed at the famed Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention multiple times, including Mabel Mercer’s 21st Anniversary Celebration at Lincoln Center in New York. Other performances include, “I Feel A Song Coming On” at The Cultural Center Theater in Port Charlotte, Florida, The Jazz On A Sunday Afternoon Performance Series in New Hampshire and Boston’s Riverside Theater Works Cabaret Festival.

In addition to her cabaret work, Jan performs throughout the country accompanied by ensembles ranging from intimate jazz groups to large swing orchestras and appears at many of Boston’s best nightclubs and hotels.

Her debut CD, “Somebody Come and Play” (2002), received rave reviews; “An excellent debut.” (Boston Herald); “…the classic torch singer…a voice like fine wine…it is glorious.” (John Amodeo, Cabaret Scenes, Bay Windows contributor). Her second CD, “You Started Something” was also released to glowing reviews, “Jan Peters has scored another great success performing material she was born to do.” Jordan Rich, WBZ Radio, Boston.

Jan created The Cabaret Spotlight Guest Artist Series to celebrate the piano bar experience where Jan happily got her start, giving budding cabaret performers the chance to strut their stuff! www.janpeters.com

BRIAN DE LORENZO
Talent America’s “Performer of the Year” and “Top Ten of New York Cabaret” BRIAN DE LORENZO is an award-winning singer, actor, and songwriter equally at home in nightclubs, concert halls, and theatres. He has traveled from Alaska to England and from the Mediterranean to Mexico to sing for appreciative audiences.

He recently returned from London, where he reprised his show Come Fly with Me, Me – Brian De Lorenzo Celebrates Sinatra, which was named “Top Ten of New York Cabaret 2015.”

Brian enjoys performing a variety of music including songs from “The Great American Songbook;” musical theatre; pop; and contemporary cabaret. He especially enjoys performing songs that may be less familiar to audiences.

With that in mind he created a cabaret show; and subsequently his first recording Found Treasures, which is primarily songs from lesser-known musicals. The recording was nominated for the “Recording of the Year Award” by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC).

Of his latest recording, I Know More Now, entertainment writer John Hoglund said:

“De Lorenzo has a penchant for story songs that pack a profound punch. In this regard, he is always committed and gives thrilling interpretations of old and new gems that speak from the soul.”

He is featured extensively on the original cast recording Made in America: Vaudeville Songs, a tribute to the Gumm (Judy Garland) family in which he starred at Don’t Tell Mama in New York City.

He has sung at the prestigious Mabel Mercer Cabaret Conventions in New York and Chicago, at three Boston Cabaret Festivals, the International Cabaret Festival in New York, The Cape Cod Cabaret Festival, and numerous times at CabaretFest! in Provincetown. He has performed tributes to Sinatra & Tony Bennett and to Nat King Cole at New York’s Metropolitan Room & Boston’s top jazz club, Scullers.
