As we step into February, we’re reminded of the profound impact of Black American History. Despite efforts to diminish our heritage, we’ll celebrate our stories and contributions with renewed joy and pride. Join me for the first Friday in February at Club Cafe’s Napoleon Room, where we’ll shine with ‘A Moment In The Black.’ For this special night, music performed for the night with be songs written, composed, or recorded by Black artists, offering a wealth of talent to draw from. Let’s spread the word about this celebration that resonates deeply with me and should inspire us all. This country should always remember its history in its entirety, from each and every person who contributed to it. The wonderful Michael Larson will be on the piano this night.
