A versatile singer and performer, Marcus Huber has appeared in opera, musical theatre, and concert productions with companies including North Shore Music Theatre, Boston Lyric Opera, Opera Company of Middlebury, Fulton Theatre, Timbers Dinner Theater, and Seaglass Theatre Company.
Marcus is a past winner of the Rhode Island Civic Choral and Orchestra (RICCO) and OperaLancaster vocal competitions, as was a 2025 finalist in the Lotte Lenya Competition. He trained as a Young Artist at Ohio Light Opera and Opera Neo, and holds degrees from Boston University and Temple University.
Matthew Larson received his Doctorate in Collaborative Piano from Arizona State University in 2001 under the tutelage of Eckart Sellheim. An accomplished accompanist, Dr. Larson has played over 1,000 performances in the United States and Europe. As a Vocal Coach, his current and former students can be found on Broadway and in opera houses and theaters worldwide.
He has held staff positions at Boston Lyric Opera, University of Connecticut, Yale University, Arizona State University, The American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, Opera Providence, Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts, Boston University, Opera New England, Boston Symphony Orchestra Tanglewood Festival Chorus, and Cape Cod Opera. In January 2020, Dr. Larson received a Grammy Award (Best Opera Recording) for his work on Tobias Picker’s Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Currently, Dr. Larson serves on the faculty of Boston University’s Opera Institute; as Music Director for Seaglass Theater Company; and as Minister of Music at First Congregational Church of Milton, Massachusetts.
