Mardie Millit & Michael Garin
reservationsDine With Us.
A small-town nerdy teen whose best friend is…Stephen Sondheim?!?
Direct from a critically-acclaimed run in NYC, MAC Award Winners Mardie Millit and Michael Garin present this one-of-a-kind story of a lifelong correspondence between Mardie and the late Broadway legend, featuring an eclectic mix of songs from his entire catalog, performed in Michael & Mardie’s uniquely personal style. John Amodeo of Cabaret Scenes raved, “Packs a powerful punch [and] soars into the stratosphere….This is a story and a show that needs to be experienced.”
Husband and wife piano/vocal duo Mardie Millit and Michael Garin have spent the last two decades bringing their unique blend of musical virtuosity and goofy charm to Manhattan audiences, delivering a wildly eclectic repertoire that spans genres, generations and cultures.
Michael, a Drama Desk Award winner for Song of Singapore, is currently in his seventh year as the house pianist at the Roxy Hotel in Tribeca. Mardie, who has a degree in Opera from Ohio State, is a founding member of Dream Productions Theatre Company in Hell’s Kitchen, presenting classic musicals with full orchestra since 2017. Michael and Mardie have been performing together since 2005 and have become mainstays of the Manhattan nightclub and cabaret scene. Their multiple awards as a duo include a 2022 MAC Award and a 2021 BroadwayWorld Cabaret Award, and in 2023 they toured to such exotic locales as Provincetown, Connecticut, and San Francisco. Their Middle Eastern pop band, The Habibi Kings, is dedicated to spreading world peace through the classic party music of the Mediterranean.
