Rainbows and Stars with Pamela Enders

reservationsDine With Us.

It’s Pride Month and The Napoleon Room has created a new series called RAINBOW AND STARS celebrating our gay community and our allies. PRIDE PARTIES are interspersed throughout June featuring and thanking many of our biggest fans for their support throughout the year. Tonight’s PRIDE PARTY is hosted by PAMELA ENDERS who will be welcoming to the stage Stan Adams, Jeff Morrissey and Peter O’Neill for a trio of showcases. We will wind up the party with an open mic as we do every night at the Napoleon Room.

Described as having a voice that is “warm, like butterscotch,” with a “sophisticated, soft honey sound,” Pamela Enders can break your heart with a touching love song or amuse you when she lets her hair down with a slightly naughty song. Pamela’s repertoire reflects her love of the Great American Songbook seasoned with forays into pop and novelty numbers.

Stan Adams has always enjoyed singing and sang in choral groups and musicals during highschool. Later, as a teacher for many years, he often sang with his students and started many school days with a group rendition of the refrain from the musical Oklahoma!, “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’.” After retiring, Stan discovered the Napoleon Room and eventually started singing during the open-mic part of the shows. He continues to broaden his singing experiences by participating in Provincetown CabaretFest, attending cabaret workshops, and taking voice lessons.

Jeff Morrissey began singing during open-mic nights at the Encore Lounge and continued singing as a member of both the Boston and South Florida Gay Men’s Choruses. His musical interests are the result of his family’s love of music, especially the “Great American Songbook.” Jeff has been a special guest at Carol O’Shaughnessy’s spotlight show in the Napoleon Room at Club Café. He has also been a participant and performer at Provincetown CabaretFest, where he debuted his show “Along Comes Love” at the Gifford House. He is currently studying voice and expanding his repertoire as he further develops his musical chops.

Peter O’Neill has been a stalwart member of The Napoleon Room community for many years. He met a number of our entertainers and singers years ago at the Encore Lounge at The Courtyard Marriott (formerly known as The Bradford Hotel) across the street from The Wang Theater. In the 90s, Peter could be regularly found at John O’Neil’s piano at Siros in the Marina Bay alongside his good friend Chet Curtis. Nowadays you can now find him at his favorite table in the Napoleon Room cheering the singers along and occasionally taking the mic himself.
