PETER DIMURO fell in love with performance of all kinds while watching the Carol Burnett show on his family’s new color TV in Round Lake, Il some years ago. Since then, life has most often involved a stage of some sort. Reinventing himself every seven years or so – the time, it is claimed, for each of one’s cell’s to be replaced in a human body – Peter has found a place in drama and musical theater, in the identity performance politics of the 1980’s and on a the road from abstraction post-modern dance art to a more humanely connected creative world. Wherever, whenever the rehearsal or performance, he finds himself ready to enter, usually heading to the spike mark left of center stage.
