Watching his kids groove on modern music, it dawned on Phil that much of his repertoire derives from albums to which he listened incessantly in his youth. He dug them out of storage (by Dylan, Griffith, Midler, Waits, Raitt and others), recalling these songs and others he never learned, while reflecting on the times associated with these albums. Joined by Joe Mulholland on piano and Matt Cregor on guitar, he’ll sing these songs and share some memories.
