Rainbows and Stars with Andy Lantz & Frankie Campofelice

reservationsDine With Us.

It’s Pride Month and The Napoleon Room has created a new series called RAINBOW AND STARS celebrating our gay community and our allies. PRIDE PARTIES are interspersed throughout June featuring and thanking many of our biggest fans for their support throughout the year. Tonight’s PRIDE PARTY is hosted by Andy Lantz and Frankie Campofelice who will be welcoming to the stage Paul DeLorey, Jinny Sagorin and Richard York for a trio of showcases. We will wind up the party with an open mic as we do every night at the Napoleon Room.

Andy Lantz and Frankie Campofelice are two of the Napoleon Room’s entertainers hosting Lush Life every Thursday night. Andy Lantz delights audiences with classic jazz standards from the 20s to the 60s at this sophisticated weekly event. Frankie Campofelice, a native from Buffalo New York, singer and vocal pedagogue is classically trained, he has had the pleasure to perform in various other musical styles in numerous locations within the metro Boston area, including Emmanuelle and Old South Church, and Ryles Jazz Club

Paul DeLorey Has been a regular voice at Club Cafe’s Lush Life for the past 18 months. But music has been his passion for the past 50 years. From church choir and Cantor to community chorus to Boston Gay Men’s Chorus and a dozen years on stage at a community theatre group, where he honed his craft of Character parts. Now retired, he loves to share his singing and acting talents, with mostly American Standards, and show tunes, in smaller venues like the Napoleon Room.

Jinny Sagorin is a Boston-based singer, cantorial soloist, and visual artist. Equally at home in musical theatre and cabaret, she previously performed with the national theatre companies in Cape Town and Durban in her native South Africa. Jinny balances her liturgical career with cabaret performances, and participation in juried art shows and exhibitions in the greater Boston area. She is thrilled to be taking part in the Rainbow and Stars Celebration of Pride Month in the Napoleon Room, her home away from home, and is especially delighted to be joining beloved Thursday night hosts, Andy Lantz and Frankie Campofelice, along with her fellow Thursday night singer friends for this special Pride Party.

Richard York has wanted to sing since the age of 6, but didn’t actually pursue singing until he joined the Gay Men’s Chorus and hischurch choir at age 42. IHesoon realized that he really wanted to sing solo on stage and fortunately has recieved wonderful feedback and support especially from the loving people at The Napoleon Room. He’s working on a Cabaret Spotlight and eventually an hour-long show in the near future. RIchard plans to record a CD of his favorite songs from pop music and R&B to the American Songbook as soon as he retires
