Rainbows and Stars with Nick Panagiotou

reservationsDine With Us.

It’s Pride Month and The Napoleon Room has created a new series called RAINBOW AND STARS celebrating our gay community and our allies. PRIDE PARTIES are interspersed throughout June featuring and thanking many of our biggest fans for their support throughout the year. Tonight’s PRIDE PARTY is hosted by NICK PANAGIOTOU who will be welcoming to the stage VICKI HANES, SAMANTHA HUGHSON AND WILL NEELY for a trio of showcases. We will wind up the party with an open mic as we do every night at the Napoleon Room.

Nick Panagiotou brings a rich blend of charm, storytelling, and vocal warmth to the Napoleon Room. A Boston-based performer with over 30 years of experience, Nick’s repertoire spans showtunes, jazz standards, and reimagined pop. He’s a longtime soloist with the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, performing at Symphony Hall and on international tours, and has wowed audiences in sold-out cabarets like One More Song, One More Story. Whether belting a Broadway anthem or crooning a late-night ballad, Nick creates a welcoming space where every song feels like a conversation—and every night, a little celebration. Vicki Hanes is a Boston-based comedian and singer, thrilled to return to the Napoleon Room after making her cabaret debut there last spring. A former MainStage cast member of Improv Asylum in both Boston and NYC, she’s also a commercial and voice-over actor. These days, when she’s not on stage, she can be found chauffeuring her two kids around in her minivan. Vicki would like to thank Nick and John for this opportunity — and wishes everyone a very Happy Pride! 🌈

Samantha Hughson is a software engineer who loves anything musical theater. One of her favorite roles in college was playing Kate Monster in Avenue Q. Last spring she had a blast playing Emma in The Footlight Club’s production of “The Prom!” That is where she got to work with Nick for the first time. She loves to bring everyone she knows to the Napoleon room for musical theater open mics.

Will Neely is the Marketing & Communications at the North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC),Vice President of the Board of Directors for the North Shore Alliance of LGBTQIA+ Youth, former Executive Director of MassOpera, and a lapsed singing member of the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus. He has a background in acting in theatre and film, and loves performing in the cabaret setting. Favorite theatrical roles include Bo in Inge’s Bus Stop, Paul in Sondheim’s Company, and Hal in Auburn’s Proof. A big thank you to Nick P for inviting me to be a part of tonight’s event, and thank y’all for coming out to support live music!
