Berklee/BoCo’s Student NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) chapter brings together a community of students to learn about the voice, voice pedagogy, and “integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion ideals and values into practical applications in the music teaching and learning process.”

Raban Brunner is a conductor and music director who has worked on dozens of musical theatre productions as a music director, orchestrator, and keyboardist. Among the shows he conducted in Switzerland are: “Umbra”, “Mamma Mia”, “Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat”, “Io senza te” Credits in the Boston area: “She Loves Me” (BU), “She? A Mystery Musical” (Pixomatic Productions), “Troyer The Destroyer” (Berklee), and “Mirrors” (Berklee). He graduated from Berklee College of Music. Currently, he is pursuing his MM in conducting at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

Merced Stratton is a voice pedagogue and performer. As a teacher and researcher, she maintains a studio of voice, piano, and guitar students at Page Music Lessons and will be presenting her research on memorization in singers at The Voice Foundation’s 24th Annual symposium in June 2024. She has performed on opera stages, in rock bands, and is excited to return to Club Cafe with Berklee/BoCo SNATS!

Mariana Elosúa was born and raised in Mexico. After studying her undergrad degree in a non-music related major and keeping up with many artistic extracurricular activities and endeavors, she decided to break routine and pursue her passion in a professional setting in Vocal Pedagogy at Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

Mandy Matthews, mezzo-soprano, will graduate with her MM in Vocal Pedagogy in May. Originally from Colorado, she received a vocal performance degree in 2018 from Northern Arizona University. Mandy has recently played Zinnia in Chabrier’s L’Etoile, covered Orlofsky in Fledermaus with Bar Harbor Music Festival, Cherubino in BoCo’s Le nozze di Figaro, and sang “Mezzo Pig” in the children’s opera Three Pigs Remix.

Natalie Ehrensbeck is a Binghamton, NY native with a BFA in Musical Theater from Fredonia State University. She is currently earning her MFA in Musical Theater Vocal Pedagogy at Boston Conservatory. Select credits include Songs for a New World (Woman 1), Mr. Burns: a Post-Electric Play (Colleen/Marge), and The Persians (Darius).

Alexander Michael Voss is a dedicated lyric soprano who works diligently to mold their voice into an instrument that inspires, both through performance and through education. Through this pursuit, Alex wishes to bring a sense of community to audiences not only through music that is already published, but also through their own original music.
Currently, Alex is working on publishing their own debut album, as well as finishing their studies in their Masters of voice pedagogy at Boston Conservatory, working in the studio of Dr. Emily Siar. With the lessons taught by their teachers, and their growing experience in the field of performance and teaching, Alex works to hone their growing voice and bring it to its full potential.

Sandy Sahar Gooen is a New York-based queer multi-hyphenate passionate about arts, accessibility, and appetizers. He intends to return to the stage of Club Cafe for a Trans event on 4/14.

Lyndsee Bell is an actor, singer and educator originally from The Bay Area, California. She is thrilled to be finishing up her MFA degree this semester at Boston Conservatory and jumping back into teaching and performing!
