Kai Clifton (he/they) is a performing artist born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. As a singer, Kai has trained at the New England Conservatory and the Assisi Performing Arts Program in Assisi, Italy. They have sung with the Boston City Singers and the Spirituals Ensemble at Boston Arts Academy, provided background vocals for Grammy-nominated artist Callie Day, and opened for Grammy Award-winning artist Kirk Franklin at Boston’s historic Strand Theatre. As an actor, Kai has appeared on numerous Boston stages and beyond. Favorite credits include Usher in the regional premiere of A Strange Loop (SpeakEasy Stage Company), Sofia in The Color Purple (Umbrella Stage Company), which earned them an Elliot Norton Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Performer in a Musical, Ursula in The Little Mermaid (The Palace Theatre), Mary Sunshine in Chicago (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina), and Gloria in Madagascar (North Shore Music Theatre).

Ricardo “Ricky” Holguin (he/him) is a Mexican-American multidisciplinary performer from Laredo, Texas. Before moving to Boston, he performed professionally with Mariachi Los Alazanes before pursuing musical theater, leaving behind the people he loves most—his chaotic but loving family. He earned his M.F.A. in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory and received an Elliot Norton Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor for The Hombres. He was also part of the Elliot Norton Award-winning ensembles of Next to Normal and The Inheritance. Other favorite Boston credits include Evita, Alba, James and the Giant Peach, Willy Wonka, The Midwinter Revels, ChristmasTime, and many more. Ricky also serves as the True Colors Manager at The Theater Offensive. Special love to his partner, Ron—best friend, chef, barber, doctor, housekeeper, life coach, unofficial manager, travel agent, therapist, grocery shopper, snack provider, and all-around miracle worker. Anthony Pires, Jr. (he/him) is a Boston-based Cape Verdean actor and singer and a two-time Elliot Norton Award winner. His favorite credits include Dan in Next to Normal, Lockstock in Urinetown, Michael in tick, tick… BOOM!, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, and performances in Shrek the Musical, among others. Anthony has worked with some of Boston’s leading theater companies, including Lyric Stage Company of Boston, Wheelock Family Theatre, SpeakEasy Stage Company, Central Square Theater, Greater Boston Stage Company, Umbrella Stage Company, and Franklin Performing Arts Company. A graduate of Framingham State University with a B.A. in Communication and a concentration in Speech and Performance, Anthony is passionate about using music, theater, and storytelling to celebrate culture, create connection, and explore the human experience. When he’s not onstage, he’s probably singing, creating, or finding his next excuse to wear a costume. anthonypiresjr.com | IG: @anthonypiresjr
