Guy and Ed are Napoleon Room open mic regulars, but did you know that they “Mambo Italiano”? Both are from big Italian families and grew up listening to the great Italian-American singers of the 50s, 60’s and 70s – think Sinatra and Bennett, of course, but also Connie Francis, Vic Damone, Dean Martin, Jerry Vale – and even Rosemary Clooney and Elvis Presley – not Italian, but they had big hits with songs with an Italian twist like “Mambo” and “It’s now or never” – it’s really “O Solo Mio”! Come hear their renditions of these and other great songs – some funny – some achingly beautiful – some from The Godfather and other memorable films – and all peppered with funny stories of their growing up Italian American in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and ending up gay in Boston! Let’s say it’s an offer you can’t refuse!
