An escape into the evening. Mary Mac returns to the Josephine’s stage alongside Andy Lantz as they evoke the atmosphere of Berlin cabaret between the wars. Mingle with society’s outcasts and scapegoats as they irreverently mock the status quo – and dream of a better world.

The long and varied career of Mary Mac has included stage appearances with such unlikely acts as The Carpenters, the Boston Pops, Up With People and Ben Vereen and the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. She has been a founding member of Acme Theater, Catbox Cabaret and Avenue Stage, and fronted the cabaret band Sukey Tawdry. More recently, she’s been seen here at Josephine’s Cabaret with her show The Last Time I Saw You, and around town with her band the Emberists.

Andy Lantz is a Boston-based pianist celebrating 16 years of his Lush Life residency at Club Café’s Napoleon Room, where he has been joined for the last eight years by singer extraordinaire and great friend, Frankie Campofelice. Fluent in a wide variety of musical styles, Andy is a sought-after accompanist who also performs regularly in Provincetown at The Pilgrim House, The Keyhole Speakeasy, and 361 Coffee & Espresso.
