The Ladies Who Brunch at Club Café is Boston’s newest Sunday divertissement. Indulge yourself in a feast for your senses with Opera on Tap’s renowned artists Erin Anderson, Sol Kim Bentley, Isabelle Zeledón along with pianist James J. Meyers. We’re pairing charming theater classics, and delicious duets, and rare cabaret gems for an unforgettable brunch experience. “The Ladies Who Brunch”, where incredible food, gorgeous music and wonderful company come together seamlessly.

ERIN ANDERSON is a versatile performing artist, equally at home on Musical Theater, Opera, and Concert stages. She is known for her captivating stage presence, expressive musicianship, and brilliant high notes. Favorite performances include: Phoebe D’Ysquith (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder) at Marblehead Little Theater, The Witch (Into The Woods) and Adele (Die Fledermaus) with NEMPAC Opera Project, Anne (A Little Night Music) with Arlington Friends of the Drama, Valencienne (The Merry Widow) with VOX New England, Cunegonde (Candide) and Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier) with Lowell House Opera, Despina (Cosi Fan Tutte), Mabel (ThePirates of Penzance), and Laurie (Oklahoma!) with Riverside Theater Works. Erin is a member of the professional choral ensemble at First Church in Boston, and Opera on Tap Boston.

SOL KIM BENTLEY, two-time Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions regional finalist, was lauded by Opera News for her “ardently sincere … beautifully restrained and heartbreaking” performance as Cardillac’s Daughter in Hindemith’s Cardillac for Opera Boston, the production of which was named one of the top ten international musical events of 2011 by Musical America. Previously, she understudied the title role in Opera Boston’s world premiere of Zhou Long’s 2011 Pulitzer Prize-winning opera Madame White Snake (performing the role for an invited dress rehearsal), and was the Roll Seller in Opera Boston’s New England premiere of Shostakovich’s The Nose. Nicaraguan-American soprano ISABELLE ZELEDÓN seeks to forge cross-cultural connections through music. In 202302924, Ms Zeledón premiered the role of South Wind (premiered) in Marc Hoffeditz’s opera Mr.Twister. During the 2020-2021 season, she produced and performed in Mezcla de Raices, a virtual recital exploring Latinx identity through the last three centuries, in Santa Fe. In 2019, she joined the Boston Lyric Opera chorus and has performed in their productions of Champion (2022), Norma (2020), and Pagliacci (2019), The Handmaid’s Tale (2019). Past operatic highlights include Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), Alcina (Alcina), Almera (Dark Sisters), and Frau Fluth (Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor).

Ms Zeledón was a NYIOP + Premiere Foundation Competition semi finalist (2023, 2022, 2021, 2020), and won third place in the Classical Singer Fall Competition (2020). In 2017, she was an Advanced Artist at the Boston Conservatory’s Opera Intensive in Valencia, Spain. In the summer of 2016, Ms. Zeledón was an Advanced Artist at OperaWorks. Ms. Zeledón is also a proud recipient of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship.

Ms. Zeledón received her Professional Studies Certificate in Voice Performance and M.M in Opera Performance at the Boston Conservatory. She obtained a B.M. in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory and a B.A. in International Relations and German Studies from Tufts University. She studies with Dr. Rebecca Folsom.

Keyboardist James J. Myers enjoys collaborations with leading artistic luminaries of our age. Esteemed projects have included Vier letzte Lieder with Christine Brewer, Indie Songs with Renée Fleming, and Opera Colorado’s Naxos recording of Nixon in China with John Adams and Marin Alsop. He’s shared stages with Frederica von Stade, Thomas Hampson, Nadine Sierra, composers Tom Cipullo and Jake Heggie, and conductors Bernard Labadie, Matthew Halls, Peter Oundjian, and the late Marvin Hamlisch. In masterclasses he’s supported Jane Eaglen, Sylvia McNair, Abby Simon, Wagnernian Linda Watson and the late Soulima Stravinsky and Zvi Zeitlin. Serving as Lecturer and Coach/Pianist with Boston Lyric Opera he’s designed multi-media exhibition lectures at the Museum of Fine Arts and Public Library, including Viennese Musical Modernism of Klimt and Schiele, World Architecture and Acoustics, and Music of Matisse, among others. He was Assistant Professor of Opera and Voice at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee where his students won contracts to renowned musical organizations and houses throughout the world. Prof. Myers’ dynamic performances have reached the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, Valencia, Spain; Hannover’s Beethovensaal; the DiMenna Center, New York; Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Portland; and King’s College, Cambridge, England. In 2024 he’ll tour Cuba on a cultural program, study Slavic medieval architecture in Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo, and will serve as Collaborative Director with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. He studied with esteemed pedagogue Karl-Heinz Kämmerling at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover, Germany through a Rotary Fellowship, and earned degrees with distinction from the University of Colorado at Boulder and the Eastman School of Music.
