MOONSHINE EVENTS
Seating may be assigned on the night of the show by our staff, therefore it is recommended that tickets for your entire party be purchased together instead of individually. It is also recommended that large parties arrive to the venue at least 1/2 hour prior to the performance time. This will help us greatly to seat your party together.

While many believe falling in love with love is playing the fool, Mary Catherine has learned the wonders of falling in love again and again. Along with that wonder, she learned about the opportunities that life presents that comes with growing older. Still in shock at the occasion of her most recent birthday, she nonetheless continues to demand more and more from her life until she wrings it dry. She will be joined onstage by her friend Mark Roderick. Falling in Love with Love was directed by John O’Neil.
Mary Catherine Ward’s love of cabaret was inspired by her friend and muse, the late Jan Peters. Mary Catherine is thrilled to be back in the Moonshine room again with her favorite musicians, the Tom LaMark Quintet. Previous shows with musical director Tom LaMark include: “Ticket to Ride”, ”I Could Write a Book”, “Inside This Heart of Mine”, and “Written In the Stars”. Her show “The Me Nobody Knows: was also performed in the Moonshine Room and directed by Tony Award winner, Faith Prince. Mary Catherine is a member of the Manhattan Association of Cabaret Artists and a monthly donor to “Cabaret Scenes”: The Magazine of the American Songbook Association.
Mary Catherine is a graduate of the prestigious Yale Cabaret Conference and the St. Louis cabaret conference. She has performed with Boston Bel Canto Opera, Longwood Opera Company and Opera Aperta among other venues. Mary Catherine was also sighted briefly on the “CBS, The Early Show” disguised as Nancy Kerrigan singing a song from the rock opera “Tonya & Nancy” by Michael Teoli and local songwriter Elizabeth Searle.
Some highlights from her earlier acting career include her lead role in an Academy Award nominated student film entitled “Grease Monkey” which won the Louis B.Mayer Award and the Nissan Award and has been shown to inspire incoming freshman at NYU Film School Orientation for many years. Mary Catherine also starred in several segments of the “Dr. Ruth Westheimer Show”, a prescient event foreshadowing her career as a couples and families therapist at a Boston teaching hospital.
